Baron Davis played in the NBA for over 10 years. He was a first round pick and all star. He had an estimated career earnings of over 140 million dollars. Not every athlete will be as fortunate as Baron Davis, but many people in Baron Davis’ same situation have squandered their financial blessings. Baron Davis has used his earnings and resources to build his own conglomerate.

Davis manages Baron Davis Enterprises which holds a number of companies within the portfolio. His businesses range from media to production to commerce to sports and tech. The Black Santa Company, Slic, and No Label are some companies that he has founded. Baron Davis is also a producer and analyst working with partners such as Youtube, Netflix, ESPN and TNT.

Baron Davis credits Linkedin as one of the catapults for him building his resources and relationships. In an interview with Bleacher Report, he acknowledges that Linkedin helped him re connect with old business partners and find new friends that held similar interests that weren’t of the same mold as the ones he met at various business seminars.
